  • Dr. Jackson's hip replacement was amazing and it only took 5-6 weeks until I was walking with NO supportive devices. Even on the x-ray, the surgery was a beautiful site to behold. Thank you, Dr. Jackson. You have no idea how much this meant to me.

  • I have had the most incredible surgical experience with Dr. Jackson. I was incredibly nervous to undergo surgery as i've had a couple of procedures in the past that have caused me issues. Dr. Jackson was thorough in his explanations to me alleviating much of my anxiety. My surgery was without a hitch. I am currently 2 weeks post surgery on a Hip Arthroscopy (labral repair, core decompression and femoroplasty to repair cam lesion) and will have to have the other side done in a few more weeks.

  • At this point I am mobile(limited more by my brace than my pain or discomfort), experienced very little in terms of post surgical pain, my range of motion has already exceeded my range of motion pre-surgery and I have no hesitations, doubts, concerns or anxiety regarding my next procedure with Dr. Jackson. I wouldn't say i'm excited for it, but I am in about as good of a place as a person can be mentally, heading into a second surgery with the same doctor, purely due to his excellent work, professionalism, bedside manner and professional expertise. He is clearly very gifted.

  • He has been caring, was extremely helpful in answering my questions even delving into concerns of mine which were not entirely in the scope of the procedure.

  • I honestly cannot say enough good things, someone should not be so excited post surgery, but I feel like I will be able to regain my quality of life and return to my career leaps ahead of where I have been for the past couple of years. My only issue and reservation is that I didn't elect to do this sooner and I didn't find Dr. Jackson sooner.

  • When I couldn’t take it any longer someone who had been to Congress Medical for their shoulder recommended Dr. Jackson and I went. The X-rays showed that on a scale of 1-10 my hip was at a 9 and total hip replacement was recommended. When I asked if he could help me he said "I not only can help you, I want to help you." I trusted him immediately and believed him. I would of had the surgery that day if I could of. I made the first appointment available for total hip replacement. The surgery was quick and the recovery even quicker. Dr. Jackson gave me my life back and I feel very blessed to have met him. I has been a life changing experience. He is a gifted, caring and brilliant surgeon with a love for what he does which is, helping people. Thank you so much Dr. Jackson.

  • I cannot sing the praises of Dr. Jackson more highly than to say he has dramatically improved the quality of my life. I had spinal surgery at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach that inserted 3 cages into my lower spine. Even though this minimally invasive operation exceeded even the well-known spinal surgeon's expectations, I still had substantial pain. After ruling out bursitis, he recommended that I consult a hip doctor. My internist recommended Dr. Jackson once she reviewed my X-Rays. Dr. Jackson commented that most people presenting such films to him were in excruciating pain, eager to have surgery the next day, and that I must have a very high pain tolerance. I told him that I had reached the point of involuntary tears. He scheduled me for full replacement of my left hip in Nov. 2017 and my right hip in Jan. 2018. Having 3 major surgeries in 7 months is a lot, but I am now thrilled to be able to do simple things like put on my own socks! I no longer take for granted that I can now walk straight up and without using a walker or cane. I wrote a thank you note to Dr. Jackson that stated I believe God has given him great surgical skills to accompany his caring demeanor. He is simply a wonderful human being! Highly recommend.

  • After years of suffering from chronic hip and leg pain, and short term injections, I realized that I had to take the next step. I was referred to Dr. Timothy Jackson, and that was the beginning of a new life for me. He diagnosed and explained in detail my options on my first visit. I booked my surgery for an anterior hip replacement, and two months later I am back to my active pain-free life. I truly don't know why I waited so long and didn't make that appointment months ago.

Truly, Dr. Timothy is awesome and I would recommend him in a heart-beat.

  • Dr. Timothy Jackson saved my life. Over two years ago I fell on my left buttock. I had pain in my hamstring and sciatic nerve pain. I saw many doctors and specialists and none of them could “think outside the box.” All of them insisted it was my back although my MRI should nothing. It wasn’t until Dr. Jackson, almost two years after my fall, read the MRI that I had previously of my hip and saw that I had a torn hamstring. He also felt I needed sciatic nerve decompression surgery. He was right! I had scar tissue putting pressure on the nerve. I suffered with that pain everyday for two years. Now four months after the surgery, I feel better than I have in a VERY LONG time! Thank you Dr. Jackson!

  • At my first appointment with Dr. Jackson he recommended sciatic neurolosis surgery. (He does not recommend snipping p-tendon either BTW!) During arthroscopic surgery Dr. Jackson also found detached hamstring and repaired that. One month after surgery, all pain in butt was gone and now a year later – still good!

I recommend Dr. Jackson highly. If you need to do medical tourism to get to his practice as I did, it could be well worth it.

  • There aren’t enough good words. I am rocking new hips (Jan15 and March 18) and it is the best feeling in the world. I keep asking myself why I didn’t do it sooner. Here are just a few of the things I can do now that I could not do before. Walk up stairs without any pain or discomfort; sit cross legged on a yoga mat; swim the breast stroke; hike; get up from sitting without help, pain or discomfort; put on shoes and socks comfortably, stand in any of the warrior posses, cross my legs when sitting, enjoy sex. I am normal again.

Dr. Jackson is professional, easy to talk to, confident, reassuring and one excellent surgeon. I felt no pain right after surgery! Walked day one and within 3 weeks each time I was walking and doing stairs normally. Just got back from 2 weeks in Hawaii and I did everything I wanted and forgot I was using two new hips (except for the TSA security!). I even wore a bikini and you can’t see the scars!

If you have hip or back pain go see him before you do anything else. Mine was osteoarthritis, but whatever yours is, go see him now, you won’t regret it!

Dr. Jackson, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

  • Wonderful Doctor/surgeon, I had sharp/stabbing dibilitating pain in hip (which affected my entire lower body) for over 20 years and I’m only 32, all other doctors/surgeons (and I saw many) kept saying it was my lower back and just get back surgery, which I thankfully never did. Put me on pain pills and sent me away.

Dr. Jackson found the main problem, a torn labrum, he did arthroscopic surgery and I cried tears of joy that the sharp pain was FINALLY gone!

I feel blessed he was my surgeon, he is knowledgeable and kind, explains it all very well, doesn’t rush, no long waits, highly highly recommend him to anyone suffering hip pain.

  • 6 weeks ago Dr. Jackson performed Sciatic Nerve surgery on me. Prior to the surgery I was in severe pain from the butt to the knee on my left side. I was told by a neurosurgeon there was nothing that could be done for sciatic problems. And then I found Dr. Jackson!! This doctor saved my life, within 6 weeks of my surgery I am now free of pain. I am able to sleep pain free now where before I was up every night until about 3am with severe pain.

    Thank you Dr. Jackson!!!

  • I couldn’t be happier to have Dr. Jackson do my surgery. He did an excellent job and I would recommend him to anybody who has this horrible problem. I suffered from sciatic nerve and pudendal nerve pain. His endoscopic surgery was easy to recover from. It took awhile for symptoms to improve but I am happy now.

  • First I would like to start by saying “Doctor Jackson thank you for giving me my life back.” A few months prior to my surgery I started to have pain in my groin. I did what I have done for prior sports injuries, which was ice, rest and elevate. With each passing day my quality of life as I knew it continued to change for the worse. I made an appointment with a reputable orthopedic doctor in West L A. My appointment lasted approximately fifteen minutes and that was including x-rays. At the conclusion of my appointment I was informed that I would need a total hip replacement. The doctor gave me two prescriptions, arthritis medication and physical therapy. He informed me that when I could no longer take the pain I would need to have surgery. I left there feeling rushed, numerous questions unanswered and totally depressed.

I had been a competitive athlete my entire life, as I’ve aged I continued to workout and live a healthy life style, so I could not believe what the doctor had said. Needless to say I was in total denial. I went to ARC for my physical therapy, where I had been with prior injuries. Sean, the Physical Therapist, after evaluating me advised me to get a second opinion. Sean advised me that he has had great success with Dr. Jackson’s’ patients recovery. I made my appointment with Dr. Jackson. When I met Doctor Jackson I was so impressed by his professionalism and bedside manners. He treated me as if I was a very important person and I felt as if I was his only patient. At the end of my appointment the results were still the same. I still needed a total hip replacement. My decision, to have Dr. Jackson perform my surgery was, his expertise and knowledge, professionalism, impeccable bedside manners and the recommendation from my physical therapist. On October 16th I had my surgery. A week after I left the hospital I had little to no pain. It has been approximately two and half month s since my surgery and with everyday that passes, I continue to improve what seemed to me at a very rapid pace. I would like to thank all the staff at Congress Medical for their professionalism. Once again I would like to say thank you to Dr. Jackson for giving me my life back and a second chance to continue to do the things that I love. SI will probably never be able to repay you for what you have done for me.

  • The pain in both of my hips got worse and worse. I went to a doctor at congress medical in Arcadia and he referred me to Doctor Jackson. The moment I met Dr. Jackson I knew he would help me with this pain. I found out I have( FAI) extra bone that grew and needed to be removed. I decided to do the left hip since the pain was worse on that side. Dr. Jackson explained everything to me and said that surgery needs to be done. On August 18th 2014 I had surgery. The day of my surgery I was very nervous. I want to thank the entire surgery staff and the anesthesiologist who made my surgery the best one ever. I also want to thank Dr. Jackson and his assistant. That morning they both spoke to me about the surgery and made me feel better. The day after the surgery Dr. Jackson and the anesthesiologist called me to make sure I was doing good. I started PT a week later and now three months later I am doing amazing. I have little to no pain and I never thought I would get to this point. If you are looking for a great doctor please contact Dr. Jackson. Sometime in the future I will need to do might right hip and I am so glad Dr. Jackson will be doing my surgery.

Would like to thank Dr. Jackson and his whole entire team for a wonderful job they did with me and my surgery.

  • I am doing things I couldn’t do for the last 10 to 15 years !

Quality of life has improved so much. Love my new hip! Trying not to wear it out too fast, but it’s hard to kick back when there’s mountains to explore !

A great big thank you to the best surgeon and staff who made the entire process so successful and unstressful.

  • We are so lucky to have Dr. Jackson in Pasadena, and I cannot recommend him enough. I went to Dr, Jackson after living with hip pain for years. As an avid mountain biker and hiker I was afraid the solution would take me out of sports for good. Dr. Jackson took the time to clearly explain the problem with my hips, and the solution. He answered all my questions and made it easy to understand. After the surgery on my first hip and fantastic results, including getting back on my mountain bike quickly, I had my second hip repaired and am seeing the same great results. Dr. Jackson is clearly a very knowledgeable and skilled surgeon, who cares about his patients and their goals.

  • I have complete faith in Dr. Jackson’s abilities as a surgeon and hip specialist. It has been six weeks since he performed arthroscopic surgery on my hip and I am very pleased with the results thus far. My hip is already feeling better than it was pre-surgery and I have Dr. Jackson to thank for that. In addition to his professional experience, I’m happy I chose to go to Dr. Jackson because he always welcomes my questions and makes me feel relaxed. Unlike many other doctors who rush from one appointment to the next, Dr. Jackson takes the time to listen to his patients’ concerns and explain each unique case.

  • Before I even met Dr. Jackson, I received a great recommendation for him from another doctor at Congress Medical. I was told that if I needed hip labrum surgery, which I did, that he was the best person around to do it. Now, I am so glad that I took his advice and allowed Dr. Jackson to perform my surgery. He is always both professional and personable and willing to explain every procedure in an understandable way. Now six weeks out from my surgery, I am almost completely pain free and optimistic about my recovery from here on out. I appreciate Dr. Jackson’s continued work in helping me literally get back on my feet and running again.
