Oddly, Hospitals, M.D.s, Facing Hard Times - WSJ

At the onset of the pandemic, with little known of what was to come, many hospitals stopped performing elective surgeries and many patients suffered. Most regions were capable of continuing care for their patients while others such as NYC were overwhelmed. Now we have seen more widespread disease and closures in LA were very reasonable and very necessary actions. This was an opinion piece I wrote in response to an article that made the same point.
